Our students shined today at the big city Starbucks! Gus and Grace served customers their mobile orders while Kelsey and Victoria waited on the drive-thru customers. Justin and Andrew sweep and cleaned the tables. Nico worked hard restocking the coffee beans in the machines and hand-delivered food orders to customers. Our students showed their job skills, their communication and social skills and made all of the customers at the Starbucks feel welcomed.

It was a lesson for some of the Starbucks’ employees as well which made the day even more impactful because they learned a valuable lesson which was that our students are capable, dependable, and oh so thankful for the opportunity to work alongside these incredible people who mentored our student employees like pros.
