Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get the CCP program at my school?
We started our CCP program at Cotopaxi Schools in our first academic year, 2019-20. We are currently talking with schools in Colorado as well as in other states, for the next academic year, 2020-21. If you are interested in having our CCP program come to your school, please email us at schools@gusbeltfamilyfoundation.org or contact us.
How are the students identified for a CCP program?
The foundation works with the special education department at each school to identify students to participate in our CCP program. A few of our selection requirements for a student to participate in our program are: (i) has an IEP, (ii) is in high school, (iii) has parental support, and (iv) has an interest in obtaining employment after graduation.
How can I donate?
We appreciate any type of donation. You can donate money through our website, through our donation form, or for non-monetary donations, email us at donations@gusbeltfamilyfoundation.org.
How can I volunteer?
The foundation has a lot of volunteer opportunities, and we typically try to match up a volunteer’s skills, experience, desires and location with our opportunities. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please complete our volunteer sign up form.
How can I become a partner?
The foundation has many types of partners, from businesses where our students can gain real-world work experiences, to partner contributors that help make our programs possible, to partner sponsors that help us organize our events. If you are interested in becoming a partner, please complete our partner sign up form.
